I am a lecturer in law at Technological University Dublin where I teach Law and Technology and Constitutional Law.

My research specialises in judicial decision-making and dispute resolution more generally. I am particularly interested in the non-legal factors that affect judicial decision-making, including psychological and technological factors.

I am co-organiser of an International Research Collaborative Network on 'Judges and Technology' under the auspices of the Law and Society Association and I am the author of How Judges Judge: Empirical Insights into Judicial Decision-Making (Informa Law by Routledge, 2020).
