Rónán Kennedy has published extensively on environmental law, information technology law, and other topics, and is co-author of two textbooks. He has a background in information technology and information systems. He was Executive Legal Officer to the Chief Justice of Ireland, Mr Justice Ronan Keane, from 2000 to 2004. In 2020, he was a Science Foundation Ireland Public Service Fellow in the Oireachtas Library and Research Service.
